Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Wisdom tooth extraction, impacted teeth and cyst surgery

Surgical expertise in impacted wisdom teeth, cysts, jaw joint and trauma treatment; sedation option.

From 3,000 TRY

Many wisdom teeth remain impacted for lack of space and may harm neighbouring teeth. The oral and maxillofacial surgeon examines the relationship with the nerve on 3D tomography and plans the method that minimises risk. All four wisdom teeth can be removed in one session under sedation.

What the treatment covers

  • Impacted tooth extraction (single or four teeth)
  • Cyst and minor pathology surgery
  • Jaw joint (TMJ) pain treatment and occlusal splint
  • Dental trauma and reimplantation
  • Sedation (conscious) and post-procedure review

How does the process work?

  1. Examination and 3D tomography
  2. Local anaesthesia or sedation
  3. Surgical procedure: 20–60 minutes
  4. Cold packs for the first 48 hours and suture removal on day seven

Impacted tooth extraction starts at 3,000 TRY per tooth and sedation is an additional 4,500 TRY. Swelling and mild pain after the procedure are normal; medication and care instructions are given in writing. Results vary from person to person; the final plan and price are given in writing after examination and imaging.

What the treatment includes

Frequently asked questions

Is the first examination really free?
Yes. The first examination, panoramic X-ray and written treatment plan are free. 3D tomography is done only for implant and surgical planning where needed; if treatment goes ahead its fee is credited.
Does implant surgery hurt?
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia and no pain is felt; afterwards there may be mild pain and swelling for two to three days, controlled with painkillers. Conscious sedation is available if desired.
How long does an implant take to complete?
It takes about three months in the lower jaw and four to six in the upper; if a bone graft is needed it extends by two to three months. A temporary tooth fitted the same day can maintain appearance during this period.
Are clear aligners suitable for everyone?
They give very good results in mild to moderate crowding. In severe crowding and marked jaw discrepancy metal braces or a hybrid method may be needed. The decision is made together at the first examination with digital simulation.
What instalment and payment options are there?
Six to 12 instalments by credit card, bank transfer/EFT and direct billing with partner institutions are available. The total and payment schedule are written in the treatment plan.
