About Us

Sedefa Diş Kliniği grew out of a small practice opened in Kavaklıdere in 2009 by two dentists on the idea of 'treating by explaining to the patient'. Today we serve in three clinics in Ankara, Kavaklıdere, Çayyolu and Ümitköy, with 18 dentists, 26 assistants and patient advisers. Implants, orthodontics, aesthetic dentistry, paediatric dentistry, periodontology and oral and maxillofacial surgery are under one roof.

Our working principles

• Plan first, treatment second: every patient receives a written plan, duration and price after examination.
• Minimal intervention: where possible we recommend preserving the natural tooth, offering root canal and filling options before extraction.
• Interdisciplinary team: in complex cases the implant surgeon, prosthodontist and orthodontist plan together.
• Recorded and traceable: all procedures, materials used and serial numbers are entered in the patient file.

Our infrastructure

Every clinic has digital panoramic X-ray; Kavaklıdere and Çayyolu have low-dose 3D cone-beam tomography, an intraoral scanner (digital impressions without moulds), our own prosthetic laboratory and Class B autoclaves. Sterilisation processes are regularly tested with biological indicators and recorded.

Training and accreditation

Our dentists regularly attend implantology, orthodontic and aesthetic dentistry congresses and complete at least 40 hours of professional training a year. Our clinics are licensed in line with the relevant health regulations and subject to regular inspection.
